Jon,

Chariots in after combat results have options to break through loose order inf
that the chariots do not have against close order inf.

The basic rules and Swiss amendments seem to allow chariots to break through
Swiss pike as per other loose order inf. Is this your intent?

Thanks,

Ed

No. Swiss (and hypaspists...) are treated as close order for this purpose.

This would seem to require a clarification officially posted.

It still needs to be in a rulebook, or a clarification document, or
list rule update.

An email here is great, and informative, but can an umpire possibly
print out and remember all of them?

Thanks, John...oh, one other thing:

11.222 Who May (or Must) Pursue
"The following are not require to, but have the option to pursue:
Regular close formation foot"

Can Swiss use this also? If not, why not (given that Chariots don't
get the break through on them and they're simulating 'fast' close
order foot.)

Also Hypaspists?
