I have just posted three documents to the files section: the latest
clarifications in bot .doc and .txt and Warrior Clinic 4.1.

I know we just put clarifications out, but there were a couple minor
errors and I also wanted to go into more detail clarifying temporary
fortifications based on glitches in clinic 4 as originially
published.

Warrior Clinic 4.1 is a revised version of the original Warrior
Clinic 4 which clears up some vague areas in the use of temporary
fortifications and highlights the differences between these and
portable obstacles and hazards.

Warrior is an intricate game, so I strongly recommend newer/less
experienced players stay away from the use of TFs in their games
until they have all the basics down. TFs are there because they
were there in real life. But I will tell you that they slow games
down and add a rules layer most folks do not need.

Please get the word out to your gaming group about the
clarifications. They are official for all purposes and wayyyy too
often in events I run we have players asking questions that are
clearly answered in the clarifications. They are just as much rules
as the rule book.

Thanks, and sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused. Some day
I will be better at this - until then, print off the
clarifications...lol

Jon

Uh, if I recall the fine print in the Yahoo Groups legal agreement,
anything posted to their server becomes theirs to do with as they
please. So you wouldn't be able to copyright it.

That would be about a jillion percent incorrect...lol But thanks for your
concern.

And before this turns into some lengthy 'debate'....

What it actually says is that we are granting a license for free use of
anything we post here as long as it is posted here - which is perfect for our
needs
as we want the info we put in the files section to be useful to all without
restriction.

However, all of this material is the intellectual property of the owner (in
this case us), the license is invlaid the moment the owner or yahoo removes it
and in no way does anyone else get to claim copyright over it but the owner.

Yahoo, despite their all too frequent tech gltiches, is very good about
intellectual property and one of the main reasons we will use them until we can
make our website fully functional.
