A few of the Aussie contingent have been tossing around the thoughts
about coming over to play in the USA in one of the comps (can't
imagine those trophies will be too hard to bring back down under!).
Could you let me know the main comps over the next year - is
Historicon next - including times and whether teams are likely to be a
feature (which I think would be good fun.)

Muz, there are many comps across the country - not a month goes by without one
somewhere here, i think. The National Championship is at Historicon (see
www.hmgs.org) which is in July. But HCon also has three other Warrior tourneys
- mini, theme and open, all in both scales -
I would expect Scott to be able to offer up qualifications to our nationals
certainly for your national champ, but also possibly for the winners of tourneys
down under.
I am making at least one trip and maybe more to New Zealand over the next year -
I am not sure I could also get to Australia as part of that, but do you know of
any NZ events? When are the big Australian tourneys?

Greg may have answered this already, but our next big comp is next
weekend (should be enough notice for you to make it) - being the 25mm
Australian Warrior Championship - looks like 22-24 starters.
It is being held in Newcastle (2 hour drive from Sydney) over 3 days
on 8' x 6 tables.
The next main comp in Australia is early October. If you let us know
if you have time to come to Australia (very short flight from NZ) we
could easily convene a comp in either Sydney, Newcastle or Canberra.
We would even let you play! It would be great to see the different
US style compared to our Australian methods (if indeed there are any)
I also have some Chinese you could borrow!
I am not aware of the NZ comps, or whether there are Warrior players
there.

Could I have the dates? October is actually a possibility....

Yay! Hooray! Yay!
That never made ANY sense.
