Kelly,
No matter the list my spears will make elephant burgers. Last year's
doubles, my sheltrons were gods against the Burmese Elephants.
Actually the reason I wrote is to ask you to look at the NASAMW site and
the NASHCON posting. It would be a great event to test out that 1200 point
list.

Hi Everyone,
While I'm very happy about the new list and all of it's cool
options for the Burmese, I'm having trouble making a competative
list for 1200 points. I noted that Jon stated something like he was
surprised that the none of the current players of the Burmese list
(among whom I am one of the two or three)have been howling about the
new list. Well, I have turned over a new leaf last year and am
trying to be more positive and supportive of Jon and Scott on this
page. As far as the Burmese List goes, I'm having trouble making a
competative list for 1200 points using all of the Elephants (Said
elephants are the only real stand up troops on the list and THE only
reason for playing these guys imo).
So, I was wondering if I could enlist the support of Mark Stone
or anyone else who felt equal to this challenge, to help me make a
competative 1200 point list out of the Burmese. SOS! I know there
are talented people out there and I really would like to see what
others think regarding how they would play this list in 1200
points. "We at Bartles and James Thank you for your support!"

Jamie,
I'll get with Steve and see what he thinks. Besides, it's my turn to drive.
To any who care, Nashcon at one time was one of the best sites for ancients
boasting over 20 players per con. It has shrunk but still has some really great
people running it (okay, Jamie is the only guy doing the foot work, but he is
Great people!). It certainly would be nice to see some of the Warrior faithful
at this great event. Doesn't Wargames attend Nashcon along with a few other
vendors that support ancients?

Kelly,
You are right about the NICT. Hey you win some and some go really bad.
Roger that Wargamers have been at all the last NASHCONs and Jake use to
come as well. I do not know if he is coming this year but it will be great to
see him there. NASHCON hit bottom as a con in 2002. The hotel in the
middle of Nashville that year lost all water so the air conditioning went out
as
well and it was bad. I was on an NTC Rotation that year so I missed it.
However NASHCON is battling back and last year showed a good recovery. I hope
to
continue the growth this year. Come over and I will promise you a meal of
raw fish and sake.

Jamie,
I think the date for Bayou wars is way too close to Nashcon and may cut
your numbers even more from Western states. It's too bad con organizers can't
find dates that are more spread out.
