Jon,
Just in reply to your message, I know Scott said he already had this one
set for review.
CinC is only Reg SHK - no type options.
King's Bodyguard are Reg SHK.
King's Scots Bodyguard Bowmen are only Reg EHI (they can get horses as
mounted infantry).
While the Ordonnance Gendarmes can have detachments of Ordonnance
Bowmen, there is no option given for the CinC/Bodyguards to have a
detachment of Scots.
Even if you dismount the CinC he is SHI and not EHI.
"Bodyguards" can only be in a unit with the general and can only be used
if the general is the same troop type as the bodyguard troops.

I don't have my FW here at work, but troop type doesn't include weapon
type, so if these bowmen are the same type (Reg/Irr HI, EHI, whatever)
as the CINC, then yes, they can be in a unit together.

John
If the history says the CINC fought with the bowmen, Scott will fix
it so he can. I would imagine it will be an allowance of mixing him
in his SHI form with the EHI. If he doesn't get an answer up soon, I
will bug him. :)
