Larry Essick has written a superb article in this latest issue of Spearpoint
(NASAMW's newsletter, subscribe at _www.nasamw.org_ (http://www.nasamw.org) )
on the Catalan Company. It is well thought out and thought provoking and
includes a suggested list for Warrior.

When we are done with the list books, we will eventually be publishing
one-off lists outside of the 276 list structure as well as looking at
alternative
interpretations and sub-lists with the possibility of making them 'official'.
In cases such as Larry's where FHE and the list author disagree on certain
points, we will look at reaching compromise solutions if such make sense and
are agreeable to both sides.

It would certainly be helpful if folks provided playtest reports using such
unofficial armies as that data could help the list become official at some
point down the road.

In any case, whether we agree on every point or not, Larry has done a superb
job and has set the example for the kind of article we should be seeing in
Spearpoint. Thanks, Larry.
