The table is half the size, and the armies are less than half the size, so what
is the terrain issue..?

The terrain is 1/4 size. Remember, if you halve both dims of a rectangle,
the resultant area is 1/4. For circles you get the same effect when halving
the diameter. Even though the armies are smaller, the tiny terrain (6.5 max
woods and brush dims in 15mm) makes getting into it harder, and less troops
overall can take refuge there. It is NOT an issue. Patricks coment was
tongue in cheek as his woods/brush loving Norse-Irish found themselves VERY
exposed here on Saturday. We have NO problems with fast warrior; terrain or
otherwise. BTW, the halving effect is what makes 15mm such a different game
than 25mm. The relative terrain size in 15mm is much smaller than in 25mm.
Not a complaint, just an observation. Makes for two distinct games.

>Good. The intent was to make a bit more noticeable the difference in
games between the scales. I mean we've sorta lurched into that over the
years at tournaments based on point size of armies and table dimensions.
Because of that, we wanted to accentuate the differences in Fast
Warrior. Like most things, my playtesting was almost exclusively in
25mm and that included predominantly cav armies. I'd like to play a bit
more in 15mm (Fast Warrior) just to get a feel for how what I have
plays.

The Irish horde units are still the same size.
In order to get the terrain they want, they have to bribe the opposing
General with mead. And every good Irishmen hates doing that because it
means less for themselves!
Hey, I'm not saying that my Mongols are displeased.
