Hi again,

I was wondering how to handle the Feudal French When the Spanish
ally becomes the Cinc. Do the French sub generals have to become ally
generals or may they remain Sub generals? Additionally, since the Cinc
is a Spaniard, do all the Spanish troops have to be in the same
command? Also, if subs are allowed to the Spanish Cinc can he get any
Spanish subs? just curious and a bit befuddled as I'm not very
knowledgable with this period.

Not sure I understand what you mean by a French List where the
Spanish ally becomes the CINC, DO you mean a Spanish list with a
French ally?

Thanks for responding Mike. The Feudal French have an errata that says "if
Spanish allies are present, the CinC must be Spanish and cannot use the
Oriflamme S standard." That is where my confusion starts. :-)

Spanish troops in a Feudal French list should be treated largely ...
though not entirely ... like allies; that is, if any Spanish are
present, the CinC must be Spanish and cannot use the Oriflamme S
standard; up to one sub-general may be designated as Spanish; troops
named Spanish may be commanded only by the CinC or a Spanish sub-
general, and such generals can command only Spanish troops; only
French sub-generals may (but are not required to) be upgraded to
ally-generals. New errata will be posted shortly. Thanks.
