<< Jon and crew,

1. 6.164 Impetuous

If I understand that last sentence correctly, impetuous troops retain their
impetuous bonus in HTH combat on sequential bonus until they are shaken,
broken, or rallied.>>

That sentence includes a reference to 9.42 which clearly states that the
combat bonus for impetuous counts only charging/counter-charging. However, I
have now changed the words 'hand-to-hand combat' in 6.164 ro
'charging/counter-charging'. You can be impetuous (with all its other
effects) a long time, but you only get the bonus when
charging/counter-charging.

<<2. 6.166 Charge Responses (Evade Section)

The third sentence in the "Evade" paragraph states "Evaders charged
simultaneously from more than one direction halve the angle." Then the very
next paragraph states "Evaders charged by more than one enemy could choose
whether to halve the angle of the charge or to evade directly to their own
rear." Which sentence is correct?>>

Good catch. Now reads:
"Evaders that are charged by more than one enemy could choose whether to
‘halve the angle’ of the charge or to evade directly to their own
rear. Halving the angle means evading along a line that bisects the angle
formed by the fronts of the enemy bodies (see example)."

Jon and crew,

1. 6.164 Impetuous

If I understand that last sentence correctly, impetuous troops retain their impetuous bonus in HTH combat on sequential bonus until they are shaken, broken, or rallied.

2. 6.166 Charge Responses (Evade Section)

The third sentence in the "Evade" paragraph states "Evaders charged simultaneously from more than one direction halve the angle." Then the very next paragraph states "Evaders charged by more than one enemy could choose whether to halve the angle of the charge or to evade directly to their own rear." Which sentence is correct?

Thanks,
