Hi All,
Just some figure questions. Have been out of hobby for quite a while.
1. Does Donnington still exist? If so, where can they be found?
2. I have never painted up 25s, does anyone have any good recommendations
for Eastern European figures (Slavs, Russ, Pechenegs, Bulgars, Cumans, etc.)
Thanks for your time.

I'm a huge Gripping Beast fan. Great Russ and Vikings! London
Wargamers website has photos. Foundry has fantastic Vikings (could be
used for some Russ). I'm building a Russ army and I have more Essex
25mm Slav javelin and spear men than I know what to do with. If you
interested holler. I haven't seen any Donnington in the states
though. Good luck.

I was wondering where I could find shieldless Pike figures for the
Medieval German Princes list. I can landsknecht pike but was
wondering if they were to late in period. Any help with this would be
greatly appreciated.

Tim:
I just finished up my Swiss pikemen. I got both armored and unarmored
ones from Old Glory. Although I'm not a huge Old Glory fan, I think
these are nice. They also have Italian spearmen that I'm sure could
be fitted with pikes.
Landsknects might be a little late for the period, but I'm not quite
sure when their distinctive clothing became fashionable - it may have
been before the formal hiring of landsknects as mercenaries by the
Holy Roman Emperor. If so, there would be nothing wrong with using
landsknects as Medieval German Princes pikemen mercenaries. I
certainly wouldn't have a problem with it.

Tim,
For 15mm I'd go with Mirliton. Steven Hollowell has some of the most
beautiful mirliton late medieval Pikemen that I've seen of late.

Yep! Mirliton are best. Next are non-descript medieval pike by Essex (often
used as Swiss) or Old Glory (can't beat their prices).

Foundry has some figures in the medievel section. If you can't findthem let

Again if you want or can't find them let me know.
I am looking for pike for my Feudal Germans and am looking mysefl
Oh. do you want 15mm or 25mm????? Probably 15mm. These are 25mm.
Oh and the Berkshire thing. You are not here to bug us so I had to fill in.
Sorry.

Is anyone aware of a manufacturer of 25/28mm Seljuk Turks?
Perry has some nice "muslims" that include Seljuks, but is there a line
of figures out there somewhere?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Brilliant!
Thanks very much.
So..... Does anyone know of a line of 25/28mm Ghaznavids?
I want them as allies for the Seljuks. I know that Ghulams can
probably pass for Ghaz aswell as Ayyubids, but when you start to get
into the Dailami heavy infantry and such I am anxious to avoid
massive conversion work.
Anyone? Bueller?
Thanks,
Chris
