I know there might be some interested people wanting to know what all the
hub-bub is about and are curious about some of the situations we here in DFW
have encountered.

I have posted three folders of pictures showing executed charges. They are
under the PB folder in the warrior egroup files area. They are as follows:

Flank Pics: A unit attempting to charge another in the flank. The rule on
pg 43 "a unit..." mentions 'fit' but the definition fit itself allows for
6.165 'pivoting to conform' and 'lining up', both of which say they can not
fit or line up, treat them as though they have lined up. The rule on pg 43
and the definition fit say nothing about the bodies being in edge to edge
contact. Which, if they did would not allow the 'treat them as having lined
up' caveat that engenders this discussion.
We here in DFW do not believe this should be legal.

Example 1: Just a sample of how a unit can be pulled out from behind a
friendly body.

Example 2: Another sample of how a unit can be pulled out from behind a
friendly body without the pivot this time. This can also show the extreme
measure here, as I believe the poor chap behind the LI gets pulled about
55p.

Well. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Having followed this
topic for a while, that may have been greatly underestimated. May I suggest
more pictures if at all possible be submitted to the abused rules horse if
indeed, the first few emails aren't understood? The advantages are obvious:
instant picture vs mental image, fewer hurt feelings, my overflowing email
box not having twenty messages of heated exchange, etc Smile I can see these
pictures easily becoming part of an illustrated clarification sheet, which
of course would be most helpful...

you at NICT? Because we both know the outcome of any
game we play?! You could be playing LI JLS And I Late
Romans and still lay the smackdown on me----so sad! So

well! Ofcourse it's my treat!
