Please look over this list and let me know what flaws you see. I'm
trying to put together a later Med. list. I figured since no one
likes the French...or should I say Freedoms...that I'd have a go.
I'm looking to build in 25mm, and yes this army is tiny. Also please
let me know if my math is wrong, as I didn't take that in college :)
CNC +5 RgA SHK 235
Sub +5 RgB SHK 160
Sub +5 RgB SHK 160
2E RgB SHK 130
6E RgB HI/MI LB 110
4E RgD LMI CB 58
4E RgD LMI CB 58
4E RgD LMI CB 58
4E IrgD LMI LB 37
6E Irg LI S/sh 61
4E IrgC LHILMI J/sh 73
4E IrgC LHI/LMI J/sh 73
1213pt
My idea here is to use the LMI CB interlaced with the SHK to push
forward with a shoot and threaten charge approach frontally while I
push the LHI through terrain or as a shock troop reserve. The LI
will screen the SHK and/or HI LB long enough to set up a punch.
This list is tiny, but I think I have counters for EL, K, and
shooters at least in enough quantity to hopefully create some type of
opportunity locally. What say the experts? :)

Well, I am no expert (although I am working on that
)my any stretch of the imagination , but the one
thing that stands out to me is that your loose order
shooters are all unshielded. In 16 fig units most of
your opponents will have a good chance of doing 2CPF
to them on even dice, and if your facing B at 120P or
less, they have a good chance of disordering you.
I am not privy to the list (left the book at home) but
if you could give half of them shields, and run them
in 2 6E units insteads of 3 4E units, you might save
some points and stay in a shooting match longer?
Having played SHK against Jon last night though, I
must say I like them.
My novice 2 cents,
Todd

Point taken Todd, though my plan is to run them in skirmish which
means the shield is just extra points unused. LMI are shot for a 5 -
2 for skirmish, but they don't count as shielded if shooting back.
The alternative with a sh is to hunker down and still take it on the
chin at a 3; 12 LI hitting me at a 3 will do much danage, so better
to shoot back with my 12@1. Perhaps this is flawed reasoning, as
I've never actually run loose order missile troops in great numbers,
and have little experience with CB in general. Yes, I'm looking
foward to creating some unease by simply charging the SHK

True, I hadn't worked out the math that way...and
worse comes to worse (depending on the opponent, you
can always dismout the SHK as SHI with 2HCW and take
care of some units that way.

I have wonderful news for you ...
4E units of RgD LMI CB are only 42 points.
One post, and I save you 48 points! How's that for tactical advice?

Only if you can figure out how to get my Reg A SHK's to cost about 12
points a figure. :-)
