What is the ruling for tournaments on changes to FW lists that merely involve
optional equipment trade offs?

Specifically, the Carolingian Franks are listed in FW as JLS,Sh, but in DAW they
can have either JLS or L. Since there is no points difference, could you run the
Frankish horse as lancers in a FW tournament?

Further query on similar lines:

If a FW list has a line like "x2 RgD LMI LTS/sh OR RgD
MI JLS/sh" Can we have one each or do both need to be
the same?
