Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

Pass this along to anyone you know of who plans to attend H'con and doesn't
subscribe (or read my posts) on this list, get Spearpoint (meaning an NASAMW
member) or refuses to go to www.nasamw.org to get the latest in tournament info
for H'con. It is the players responsibility to know the format in advance so
that we don't have any confusion onsite. Potential players can always email me
offlist with any questions regarding the tournament.

SINGLE LIST, 1600 pts for OPEN & THEME, 1200 pts for MINI.

Rounds: 4 hours OPEN/THEME, 3 hours MINI.

Scale: MINI 15mm only; OPEN/THEME: 15mm & 25mm; FAST WARRIOR: 15mm.

Table Size (same for MINI/OPEN/THEME): 6x4 for 15mm, 8x5 for 25mm.

THEME LISTS: ONLY FHE lists.
MINI/OPEN LISTS: OLD/NEW WRG, Book of Hosts, NASAMW revisions that have NOT been
superceded by FHE lists.

Generals and Climate MUST be rolled for.

Order Cards will be used.

A couple of things in particular: first, the move to single-list
appears to be complete. As an advocate for this, I'm happy but
wonder whether an occasional 'lapse' back into multi-list is desired?

Second, that the mini is on the large/1600 pt. table size. Bring out
those LC!

Third, that no-one else apparently signed up for FW in 25mm! This
really surprises me. I guess I'll have to try to find a 15mm army to
drag along in addition to 25mm lead.

Fourth, that I wonder whether a more freeform FW tourney can be fitted
in alongside the longer games. I bet there are enough folk finishing
early each round to get some games in then, as well as in breaks, and
that possibility would provide incentive for speedier Warrior play,
perhaps. OK, so I hereby volunteer to host/organise this next year.
Also gives some extra gaming for those of us not needing sleep!
