Just to close the loop on something from the weekend:
<<Another point of contention was a body of HC charged across brush(becoming
disordered on contact with the brush (we did this incorrectly- see follow up
comment)) then received a becomes disordered combat
result. This causes a waver check correct?>>
Yes. The HC was already disordered and received a ‘become
disordered’ combat result.
<< Now, I have reviewed the rules and see HC should not be disordered by brush,
so let the example
be a HI unit instead so my question gets answered.>>
This is not correct. Brush is a rough area. 6.71 indicates mounted troops are
disordered if charging in a rough area. I will take a look at the language of
both 6.71 and 5.221 for potential improvements.
<<To the above - 5.221 needs to be rewritten to point out that rough areas only
disorder close formation. Having that important tidbit buried in
6.71 is something all 4 of us missed all day.>>
I agree to look at 5.221, but not with your reading of 6.71. Rough areas will
disorder mounted charges and my copy of Warrior so reflects in 6.71 (and so does
my copy of WRG 7th). See above.
Clearly, however, from your comments, 5.221 needs a rewrite.

Possible. After a few hundred hours who can tell? :)
I'll triple check. Thanks.

Intentional and related to achievable rate of fire, not ammo.

Jon, shouldn't that be 5.222? Isn't it a rally cured disorder?

I agree with all comments on 5.221 and 6.71. 6.71 clearly states rough
disorders charging mounted. Another case of me not finishing a rule
before I post. I still hope to see it added to 5.221.

I noticed that Elephant and chariot crew do not shoot with a doubled HG,
Naptha,
Dart, S, or SS. Is this intentional? After all, increased ammo is
increased ammo. What applies for bow should apply to all.

I would think that Dart would be just as achievable as JLS. Ditto Naptha.
You could give me an argument over HG and in truth, S and SS are irrelevant.
