Wow, what a great theme!

If I play my 25mm EIR, it will be their first appearance in a game,
then I have a perfectly good and fun-to-play 15mm Patrician army
sitting on the shelf. It is actually my nicest-looking (okay, maybe
not saying much) 15mm army and a long-standing favorite of mine in
the, er, "abstract system". All it needs is to get the ex-Hun-in-
Roman-unit regular LC equites re-based as HC (which is what they look
like anyway).

If someone needs an army for the theme in 15mm I'd be interested in
seeing what someone can do with this horde in Warrior. It's got 24E
of Irr MI HTWorJLS,Sh (nice-looking Franks which are the killers in
this army in "the abstract game", but could just as easily be any
Germanic foederati). It's got 16E of Irr HCorMC JLSorL,Sh (pck you
favorite kind of Goths or more foederati). It's got 4 units of nice
2E Reg HC L,B,Sh equites which are what I need to rebase from LC.
It's got 5 units of nice 2E Reg LMI JLS,Sh auxilia Palatina. It's got
some Reg LI B which (have to check the list again) might ether go as-
is or be re-based as Reg LMI third-rank archers for the auxilia
(which is what they realy are and look like). Oh, and they have 4 2-
crew bolters but I forget if the new Patricians get these or not.

So the offer is out there, because it looks like I will giving the
EIR a whirl this time. I just need to know in time to do the re-
basing work (a couple weeks) which otherwise will probably wait for a
regional torunament.
