"Hi, Arkadii..."
Having played DBM on and off for the last ten years I finally played
two fast warrior games this last weekend.
It as if the sun has come out from behind the clouds.
I have stopped drinking, stopped smoking, and stopped kicking my dog
everytime my Spartans die in a ZOD fiasco...
hat's off to the designers, and thanks.

Well, a hearty welcome to you sir!
I really enjoy Fast Warrior games and nothing is so effective at getting new
players.

Arkadii,
Do you know Grant Johnson. He lives about 18 miles from your location
(Harker Heights) and likes to play Warrior. You might want to contact him
and schedule some games. His email is WarChap@....
The San Antonio Group is having a Warrior Game day on 19 July, you are more
than welcome to come. Contact Dave Beeson at DBeeson@... for more
details.
I am hosting a tournament in Arlington, TX on August 23 & 24 if your are
interested in attending. The tournament is a team tournament and we will
have many new and old Warrior addicts present. All indicators point towards
a very well attended tournament. I will mail the tournament flyer directly
to you.

the time to play themselves and teach someone else. Keep at it, Fast Warrior

Don't let your Spartans near Romans. HI,HTW,Sh is very hard on
MI,LTS,Sh, even Reg A variety. Making Romans tough enough to fight
pikes makes them plow through Hoplites (and Libyan LTS) like a hot
knife through butter.
Spartans were my first ancients army ever. Wish I still had those
boys.

Dave Dranitz from San Angelo, TX showed me the game. Dave and I have
been wargaming for the last 12 years, even after he moved to Texas
and I moved to Kentucky. Now that we are only 200 miles apart rather
than 1000 we get together every couple of months to 'have at it'.
So far I've finish up my Spartan army, am almost finish building my
Yorkist WotRs army and will soon start my later crusader army.
