Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

Looking at the available lists...there are some points that can be
made.

Want pikemen? There's only one list that is permitted to have them,
Commagene. This list also allows SHC lancers, and some decent light
cavalry.

Want the maximum massed missile fire? Late Imperial Roman with all
the darts and all the auxiliary (separate) archers serves you well
here.

Want Elephants? You'll need to run Sassanid, who can also elephant
proof their cavalry to operate them in conjunction. This list also
gets access to shielded SHC with lances and bows! Probably the
premiere cavalry army for this event, and one of the very top lists.

Want to use the Roman Legionary special rules? Early Imperial Roman,
or the Severan portion of Middle Imperial permit that.

I think the lesser cavalry armies and the barbarian foot armies are
going to get creamed by all the bow/dart fire and the SHC available.

I think this sounds like a direct challenge to Chris D. to run Irreg
C down everybody's throat.
