While not wanting to particularly comment on a result that is
obvious, I think the arguement that IRR HTW+JLS infantry is rare, is
not on point for this discussion. These are actual historical
opponent for the Pre-Severan armed Legion. One might even consider it
a "conference game".

I did not make that argument, nor has any of our IW work been based on it. No
worries.
