I agree with the dissidents on this one. It seems to me that it could
provide the extra casualties to bump up a 2 CPF combat result to a 3
CPF one very easily against the six-figure knight units that were
common on British tables, and will therefore disadvantage the knights
unduly. I have an open mind however. How about some convincing using
historical examples please.

Bow + Lance Cv are not supposed to be as good at charging with lance as
"Western" knights are they?

Most western knights will be graded as some type of K, which gives them the
advantage in the lance-lance close combat, and I don't think the shooting of
2 figures per element frontage will be enough to change that......

If there was to be a change then I'd suggest that bow armed lancers shoot in
a charge and not be allowed to use the 2nd rank of lance. This would
further differentiate between cavalry and knights.
