That would of course be entirely counter to the rules. You can do what you
like with Warrior when you buy it, of course. But I wouldn't try using that
at Historicon....lol

Sure. If you aren't charging already.....

Proration is correct. Check out the clarifications for this one.

Hi Jon,

Our group has gone back and forth on the LC/HC issue. We now agree that
in the LC/HC situation, as the HC have declared a charge on the LC, the
LC must respond to the HC charge even though the LC have a legal charge
declared on lights to the LC front. The HC is not a legal charge target
for the LC to issue a counter charge, so the LC must either stand or
evade, effectively canceling the LC charge on the lights to the LC front.

6.166 Charges Responses: "The only responses allowed to an enemy charge
are to stand to receive it at the halt without further direction of
formation changes, or to countercharge, or to evade."

The LC/HC thread also brings up the question of actually moving the units
in the charge move.

The rules under 6.165 address movement for mutual charge/counter charges
very well: After wheels, split the difference.

What happens when the charge is NOT mutual? Two units charging others,
with both moving into each others charge path would bring this into play.
Our first thought was to prorate the distance moved by 1/4 movement, as
per 6th ed., to find where contact would occur, but could find no rule to
support this. What would be the movement mechanism?
