A question about the Italian Condotta list. I noticed that all of the different
lists have the option to upgrade at least some of their SHK to Reg B but the
Neapolitan by the Middle Period.

Extra to upgrade SHK/EHK to Reg B @ 3 pts [F] 0-2

Extra to upgrade SHK/EHK to Reg B @ 3 pts [Mi, Pa, VG, VI] 0-6

This makes it unusual because your general (as Knight) is Regular A but has a
back rank of C's. Is this working as intended?

If working as intended, if I take a Neapolitan ally general is he under the same
restrictions or can I upgrade his back rank to B's and count it as one of the
requirements of my VI, or Mi (the 4-18 Barbuta, Lanze Spezzate or Condottieri )
or whatever I happen to be using?

And finally, although this may not be a list question, can I mix morale grades
on troops that are A/C or Irregular B/D or similar? Aside from the general in
the SHK element question, is it ok that other units are mixed like that?

>No because the Neapolitan ally-general can only command Neapolitan troops,
therefore, any knights in his command are assumed to be Neapolitan-led and there
are no provision in the list (deliberately) to allow for a Reg B upgrade for
Neapoltian knights.

>That depends. I'll need more specifics. In general, repeat, *in general*, if
you have a line item on a list that reads

Schmucky Spearmen Reg D MI LTS, Sh @ 12 pts

and it has an upgrade line that reads:

Extra to upgrade Schmucky Spearmen to Reg C @ 4 pts...any

then you can have a mixed morale class unit, UNLESS the list Notes say
otherwise.
