Scott,

In the Later Judean list of Imperial Warrior, you can take a Marian
Roman Ally General as HC, JLS, SH and 2 Reg B figs.
What unit in the list can I add to the generals elemement to make it
a 2E Fighting unit?

None of the other Roman Mounted units in the list are Regular, they
are all Irreg.

Todd

Possible that the general never fought - a la for instance the
elephant-mounted Sassanid, who cannot have extra crew unlike the other El.

No idea whether this is the case, just noting that there does not
*have* to be a second element available.

As Ewan pointed out, there's no requirement to have another troop type for the
Roman general to "be with" in the manner in which you describe. I'll put this
issue in my "look at later" file but nothing's gonna change in the near term.

Not a problem. Slow day at work, was building a list and it caught
my eye.

In the New World Warrior Book, List 8.

Line 5 says:
Araucanian Body Guard Irr B MI or LMI LTS or JLS, B,
Sh @ 20 pts if MI, 15 ipts if LMI
0-3/General

Can these elements also be purchased with the Tribal
Ally Sub General?

Thamks,
Todd

>No. That's why the "nationality names" are specific in each line item, ie, you
have troops that are of the "Araucanian nationality" and you have troops of the
"Tribal nationality". Therefore, Araucanian bodyguards can only be with
Araucanian troops. Tribals are not "araucanian".
