Hello Fellow Warriors,

I am putting out a call to any of you who might be able to point
me to a source that will lead me to know what the Medieval Vietnamese
look like! After much drooling over the Fast Warrior List #255, I've
decided this has to be the next list I paint! Smile Could anyone point
me to a text or webpage that would help me in this regard? Thanks in
advance,
Kelly Wilkinson

I don't have any research for you Kelly, but I do have a figure of Uncle Ho and
his water buffalo, you are welcome to.

P.S. When in doubt, just google it.

Hi,
In one of the New Osprey on Eastern Naval vessels (I'm
at work, so don't have it at hand) there is a drawing
and some comments on the Medieval Vietcong.

Also, you may want to look at the hardbacks done by
Foundry on East Asian Armies, they are more oriented
toward Ren period than medieval, most likely no great
change in dress.

Also the ancmed site in yahoogroups may lead you to
someone with a better knowledge. In DBM, Early
Vietcong is a "Killer" 'Wall of Crap' Army.

That meaning they are lesser quality troops, but a
boatload and a half of them and tons of bow. I
haven't read the list for Fast yet, I am more
oriented to Indian armies for eastern troops,
maybe Burmese or Cham, Rajput etc.
Good luck, Mark

Thanks Mark! I'll check out those leads asap! and a Note to Jake Kovel who says
he reads all of the postings! Jake, Don't worry about the Rennaisance ink
products that I ordered. I can pick up what I need here in town. That will knock
that big order down at least 6 or 7 dollars! lol! Wink
