Say a 4 front x 2 deep reg body goes into a gap of 300p wide, however its
movement will take it into another body (LC who got in the way) and
therefore must contract by one elements width. Must that unit then
immediately expand within the 300p gap, since it can physically fit?
Or are they going to be allowed the uneven ranking because they are still in
the gap?

I downloaded pictures regarding my questions below into the group files page
under PB Folder/Regs in gaps.
Pic 1 - setup
Pic 2 - the move into the gap causing drop back of elements
Pic 3 - The Reg formation troop Expanding in the Gap (see question below).

Pat
The photo series seems correct if I understand the question. The regs can drop
back to enter the gap. When the gap 'widens' due to the regs moving further
(past the gap) or the LC countering or whatever, the regs must get back in even
ranks at the first opportunity. The next clarification sheet will so state.
