True.
If FHE makes a trophy for Warrior-only NICT winners, we'll use FHE money to
do it and will not require the generous offers made here (as cool as they are)
- especially since I at least would assume they were essentially being made to
NASAMW and not us, which i think is right.
The first question is, would people like to see a Warrior US Nationals trophy
with name plaques added for the winner each year? Of course FHE'd
retroactively outfit it for 2002-2003.
The second question is, would people like to see one for 7th/Warrior combined
and sponsored by NASAMW? I'd be happy to pass your opinions along if you
sent them to me offline, or folks can talk about that on NASAMWList. Although
this part of the subject is in a grey area in between politics and Warrior (esp.
considering the recent NICT debate), I'll let discussion on such a trophy run
here if people prefer, unless it devolves into something else...
Personally, I support both ideas and would contribute personal funds to the
NASAMW version. I would suggest it be a 7th/Warrior combined thing. Not so
sure about 6th, as I played it, but a fundamentally different engine was
involved.

I'd retrofit for 7th. I see no downside to retrofitting for 6th
also, though, as long as we're not risking running out of space
for any sensible future listt - it's not like the engraving costs
are going to be huge.
[And yes, NASAMW not FHE]

I vote for going back far enough, and loosening the criteria
sufficiently, to get my name on it :-)

We should go back to the first NCT that was run after Kruse and Johnson founded
NASAMW. If that happens to get Bob, so be it:) :)

I would agree - go all the way back, and make it one huge, mambo, jambo
trophy to be the envy of all!

As the person started this trophy thread , I agree with Scott Holder! We
should include everyone from the first NICT. Too me, having all those names on
such a trophy from the "Days of Yore" make the trophy even more legit! Besides,
who wouldn't want to have their name printed with the likes of a Kruse Smith!
