Scott and Jon,

What about Normans? I don't remeber them having
'wedge' listed on the new Feudal Warrior list for the JLS
option. Can it be assumed this is an oversite, that JLS
armed Norman HC can charge 1.5 ranks?

As for open/theme at Cold Wars I vote for Open. There
are not that many open events in 25mm and it would be a shame
to loose one, especially one that is usually well attended
like Cold Wars. If you want to make a theme mini, why not
Fall In which is usually less atteneded and has a single
open on Saturday?

Sean

>It's not so much an oversite as it is an uncertainty as to when western
Frankish nights and their Norman derivatives began using something modern
authorities interpret as a "wedge". I'll need to cogitate on this one for a
while. But, thanks for bringing it up.

>Regarding Cold Wars tourney format, what feedback I've received indicates that
while everybody had a blast at the Mini Theme Campaign, a Mini Open is
preferable with a Thematic Fast Warrior tourney Sunday morning. So, I'll be
going with that. But......I'm gonna look long and hard at the occasional Mini
Theme Campaign at Cold Wars again in the future. I'll probably look at the
proposed mini themes and see which one of those would work best in the Mini
Theme Campaign format and do it that way. So perhaps every 3rd year or so,
we'll do something like that as a change of pace.
