Silver Eagle Wargame Supplies and On Military Matters are sponsoring a team
tournament at PointCon on 26 March. Here is the format:

Four players per team. One member of the team must compete in each of the four
time periods listed below:
Before 250 BC
250 BC - 500 AD
501 AD - 1100 AD
After 1100 AD

1200 point armies, 1 list
2.5 hour games, 3-5 rounds depending on the number of teams

standard game scoring
team with the highest composite wins

You can preregister with Dennis at OMM or with Jacob at SEWS.

Missed the scales. Currently the plan is to do this in 15mm scale. If there is
interest, we can change one or more of the time periods to 25mm. Please let me
know what period would teams like to be in 25mm.

Hi Jacob,

I just noticed there was no beginning time on the web site. Did you publish
a start time in your first email? If so, I must have missed it.

Thanks,
Jeff

As of today I have heard from 4 teams including OMM, Phil and Ed, Ewan and Dave,
Jacob and Pete. As you can see, some of the teams could use another player or
two. The challange is scheduled for 26 March at West Point. If there is an
interest in playing one period in 25mm, please let me know which one.
Jacob

I am (tentatively) very interested in this. Give me a bit to see if
I can drudge up any interest (unlikely, but possible) from the DC
area folks for a "local team". Else if any of you are interested in
a "perenial also-ran" 4th team member to keep your team from looking
_too_ good in the final score(!)...

It is not really too far to go from DC for a Saturday event.

Keep going on this folks, great idea, and I'll touch base back in a
while if it looks like I can make it or I figure out who I would be
playing with.

Jacob,
If you need a 15mm army, I have what you need to run an Mediaval Irish,
AND, still have enough to run a 1200 point Anglo Irish as well. <gruge
