I see from this poll that 4 guys out of 14 said they had not played 7th
before Warrior.

I would love to hear from one or all of those four what caused you to join us
and what could have been done better to get you to play and keep playing.

POLL QUESTION: What would you prefer to be the system

CHOICES AND RESULTS
- Firm limit: 1600 is legal, 1601 is not, 14 votes, 30.43%
- Permitted to go over by cheapest element AVAILABLE IN THE BOOK LIST, 6
votes, 13.04%
- Permitted to go over by cheapest element ACTUALLY TAKEN IN ARMY, 17 votes,
36.96%
- Permitted to go over by up to (say) 10 points, but with (say) 4x that
amount being given to opponent's score at game end (or some variant of these
numbers around the basic concept), 9 votes, 19.57%

*** i think now you should do a poll of just the two top choices - otherwise
we have a minority decision.

Mark, we do not make decisions solely on the basis of a yahoo group poll, so
no worries there. But if someone wants to set up the new poll with just the
two questions, that would be cool.

I can tell you it won't end up being either of the low-polling choices in
any case.

How about a picture of as many Warrior NICT champions as possible that attend
Historicon on the rules book. Since these are the people are the game. The
only problem I see with this is Dave Markowitz possibly breaking the camera.

I'm new to the board but would like to place my vote. I think it would be neat
to have a picture of the FHE people on the rules just as is done with many
books.

The following WarriorRules poll is now closed. Here are the
final results:

POLL QUESTION: Scoring system. Currently, scores are adjusted with a % of
opponents' scores equal to 10x your score against them (so a
5-point win gives you 50% of that opponent's score; a 1-5
loss 10% and so on) as a 'strength of schedule' adjustment.
Because you get a % of your opponents' *total* score, it's
better (by 1.5 points) to win 5-3 than 5-0, which (to me)
seems ludicrous.

Question: would players prefer this to be altered so that
you get a % of opponents' scores *excluding* the games
played against you?

CHOICES AND RESULTS
- Yes: alter to remove the bonus from giving your opponents kills, 6 votes,
40.00%
- No: keep the system as is, 9 votes, 60.00%
