Jon,

I've got a couple of questions that come up with armies like 100 Year's War
English and Ottoman Turks, at least if you try to position them using
historical tactics.

- Can longbowmen and/or Jannissaries start with stakes in place?
- Can they start with stakes in place if force marched?
- Can knights start dismounted?
- Can mounted infantry start dismounted?
- Can knights on a flank march arrive dismounted?
- Can mounted infantry on a flank march arrive dismounted?

The rules are not as clear on the above as they should be. The answer is yes
and the revised 14.0 will reflect that. I should have a new draft of it out
soon.

Yes.
