Hi,
today my copy of the rules and the armybooks arrived at last ;o) so i am
going to try them out with my clubmates the following weeks. Unfortunatly
the bulk of our armies are from the punic war period which which be
handled in yet to be released Classic Warrior. But I guess armies built
according to the armybooks of TOG's predecessor (WRG6) rearranged on
elementbases should provide valid armychoices, am I right?
thanks,
Michael

More or less correct. You can use the old WRG Book 1 armies for
Punic and be okay.
Of course Classical Warrior goes to the printer this weekend so ya
might not wanna get too used to the old lists:) :)

Woohoo! So my Seluecids and Galatians will soon be getting a new
look soon? And I might even have an excuse to paint up that Hoplite
Greek army I've been sitting on for years as well...
So when does it ship?

Clearly nobody goes to our website:) Publication is April
2005. As mentioned in here before, we will have copies at Cold
Wars. I suspect that probably the first week in April, we'll have
our sales page updated on the website as well.
And you most definitely *will* have a reason to paint up Hoplites.
Their "core" lists, Early and Late Hoplite Greek also have
interesting offshoot (for lack of a better phrase) lists, namely
Syracusan and Lydian/Lykian/Karian. Plus, Greek Hoplites pop up
like cockroaches in so many CW lists *and* you'll have a reason to
use em.
Bill spent a load of time on the Hoplitey lists whereas I focused
heavily on the Italian and Alexandrian/Successor lists. I think
folks will find lots to like in Carthage as well.

That's good news But even so it'll take a few weeks till they arrive
here - snail mail can be very snailish - even sluggish I'd say ;o)
I don't think they'll arrive before May, so untill then the old lists have
to do the job.
Cheers, Michael

Yay for Carthage! I have a hughe lot of Carthaginans which I bought 'bout
10 years ago - so the moment might have come to dig 'em out ant paint
them...
And scott - I DO visit your website and read they were scheduled for April
but beeing scheduled and coming out of the printers are two things
(besides as stated it takes time for them to cross the sea...)
Cheers, Michael
