Scott,

Are the NASAMW lists effective until the Warrior list is published?
I'm looking at Normans and 1st crusade. Also, if not, can you drop
me a hint on differences, so I won't have to go running for figs
later on? I don't need a sneak preveiw as much as basing changes and
max/mins on the major forces: HC, MI/HI, LMI B or LI B. I don't
want to get caught having to supplement my army with lead golums;
painting 25mm takes more time than I have, and rebasing just sux--as
previously noted on this list.

BTW, you can answer these questions in good consceince, as I've order
the rule book from the 4muledriver website; thus, I have become what
in marketing circles is known as a "client" Smile.

I can't answer these questions "in good concience" because I don't have
everything in front of me and don't really want to take the time to do a
side by side comparison. I could instead be working on the Komnenan
Byzantines, Berbers, an so on:)Smile:)

Wait 1.5 weeks and you can see the Norman list, assuming you purchase
Dark Age Warrior.

The 1st Crusade list is somewhat based on portions of the NASAMW list
plus work Terry Gore did several years ago. That should give you a
general idea.

To reiterate for everyone's benefit, as a 25mm gamer, I am very
sensitive to the whole rebasing nightmare when armies get "updated".
Therefore, I'm endeavoring to keep that to a minimum. That being said,
expect some changes and tinkering around the edges. Nonetheless, the
core parts of armies are not gonna radically change. I anticipate
exceptions to that but nothing massive.

FW lists give an indication of the core parts of the final lists. If
you build from there, you won't go overly wrong.

Japanese being one eh? Rumor has it there will be no close order Samurai.
Poo. I have 20 elements of close order 2HCW+B.

>How do these rumours get started? It's waaaay to early to tell. My
initial material *does* indicate no close order foot unless it's
dismounted cav. But, the chief collaborator on this list will have some
input. For all I know, we might allow for a partial amount of close
order foot.

>Again, this list is so below my event horizon, anything I say now is
more or less worthless.
