Ewan mentioned re maximizing ability to pass a waver
>>>
Mercenary Theureophoroi "Reg C" LMI, LTS, JLS, Sh @5 pts
. [Not too likely unless facing knights - lighter cav would die on
contact if I pass the waver - but against knights, pretty likely at
some stage!]
>>>

I could use a simple matrix showing which troops types slaughter/get
slaughtered. The basic relationships in DBX are much easier to see.

I live in Maryland. We top the list for heroin addiction, syphilis,
violent crime, and political corruption. So if you visit, expect to
be drugged, raped, robbed, and then taxed for the experience.[Attrib

That's because their categories are so much broader.
I think such a matrix is too situational (like real life) to be much more than
misleading. Doesn't a look at the combat table do this at all for you?

No, because any troop type (say LMI) can have shields or not, and be
armed with many different weapons & combinations.

I guess it might be more do-able in a situational context- like the
main troops for an historical pair of opponents. That would give
have a dozen at most on each side; 18 pairs to compare at worst.
Lumping together similars reduces the explanations needed.
