Jon,

Because I see something here that I know will come up now, let me
just go ahead and ask it.

AAAAAAAABBBBBBBBCCCCCCCC
AAAAAAAABBBBBBBBCCCCCCCC
........................
........................
....X...................
...XXX..................
..XXXXX.................
...XXXXX................
....XXX.................
.....X..................

As the start of charge declarations Unit X is aimed such that it
will hit Element B of the enemy Unit ABC if it goes straight ahead
(forgive the sloppy drawing) and after pivoting will be mostly
overlapped by B so align with B and receive support shooting from
all 3 ABC potentially. A 45 degree wheel left will still leave it
mostly overlapping Element B after pivoting so changes nothing.

Question #1, I presume, please confirm, that is still illegal to
avoid a support shot from element A by wheeling unit X _right_ (on
the far corner) to hit so the main overlap after pivoting would fall
on element C.

However, Question #2, I also presume based on your last few posts
now, please confirm when you get the chance, that if instead of the
above a 45 degree _left_ wheel would overlap mostly on element A
that is legal to wheel (more than minimum) to hit element A and
avoid support shot from element C.

Question 1 - yes, you cannot ever pivot a charge on the corner away from the
target.

Question 2 - yes, you could wheel left to possibly hit more on A and avoid full
support shooting. this diagram does not seem to allow that, but *in theory* it
is possible.

I have placed a diagram in Files > Rules Questions /Wheel to hit end
element.

I believe it covers the questions and anwers raised
