Bahram won't be forgetting Reg A LHI 2HCT CB..... and he will never come
into contact with a chariot.
Other than that, cool story....

Bahram rolled his head side to side as he walked at the head of his line; while
others around him were growing weary from the long pursuit, he lumbered
tirelessly on. The dust kicked up by so many marching feet made it difficult to
see far, but an occasional breeze would create a small respite and sometimes
Bahram could see the object of their chase far in the distance. As he topped a
ridge he had labored up for over a half hour, just such a breeze came up, and
there in the valley below was the army he and the others had hunted for over a
week. Strange, unknown banners of bright flashing colors rippled above their
troops as they made their way toward a row of foothills in the distance. Bahram
knew from experience that the other army would probably not stand to fight in
the broad valley below him. More likely the coming battle would be fought
somewhere in that distance line of hills.
Bahram puzzled as he walked. He seldom forgot anything, yet he did not remember
ever seeing any army arrayed like the one in front of him. The men looked
similar to the Huns who sometimes rode with Bahram's army but their dress was
very different. And, unlike the Huns, many of them walked. Bahram paid the
foot troops little more attention; instead he focused on the other parts of the
distant army. The horsemen carried banners picturing unknown beasts. The men
wore an armor that Bahram had not see before. And why some of the army's horses
were hitched to small carts Bahram could not understand. No matter though,
killing those would be his charge. He would crush the opposing horsemen and the
small cart things as he had routed so many horse troops before. Then perhaps he
might meet one of the beasts pictured on their banners. That would be an
adversary worthy of him.
Bahram's thoughts were interrupted by a sharp poke in his shoulder. Recognizing
his "superior's" command to adjust his pace, Bahram complied. Soon enough he
would enjoy the excitement of battle.

I was referring to Chris' Zhou army that I am to play in the first round.
We'll see how Bahram does against the Han when the time comes.
BTW, I noticed the post of my story didn't come up on the Web site. Have
others had that trouble?

Sorry Jon,
All I did was hit reply and did not repost anything. To do otherwise would
constitute too much work on my lazy part. I'll keep my posts to a bare minimum
regardless.

From looking back through it, I guess what was happening is that
there was a conversation about it both here and on KCWL, so you
didn't do anything wrong per se in responding to the thread here. I
am not trying to discourage you from posting, I just want to enforce
the rule about one identity per member on the group.
I am sorry I didn't realize that Charles had continued the sassanid
story thread here - that's all my fault.
Jon

Jon,
Regardless, I will try to trim my posts. The fact is that you are still a
dangerous player as the Han. Additionally, I support everything you are doing
with Warrior because it was a dead system before you got a hold of it. You and
the other Four Horsemen breathed life into the best rules set ever and improved
on it. For that, I am grateful and will occasionally make positive comments.
Take that for what it is. I'm taking your advice on the latter as well. Thanks,
kelly
