G'day! I understand that the rules do not allow one unit to shoot at
the same unit that another unit is charging eg
HI HI HI HI (4 elements, one unit)
LI LI HC HC (4 elements, two units)
In the example above, the bow-armed LI cannot shoot at the HI (from
any rank) while the HC charges the HI. Only a rear rank of the HC can
shoot and only if it was armed with bows.
a) is this correct?
b) Could you shoot with the LI if the HC charged through it?
b) why is shooting by an unobstructed non-charging unit prohibited?
c) Is this going to change?

Chris,
Chin up young soldier, in the subsequent bound of hth the LI may
shoot in support of the HC if they are still fighting the HI. There
must be some consolation in that.....

You have two b)'s there, Chris...
That is correct, the LI could not shoot if the HC charged through it and no, it
isn't going to change.
