Terry, Kevin
My name is Robert Parrish I am a long time Warrior player living in the Diamond
Bar/Walnut.
Was at the last game day/session held at the Eagles lodge in Alta Dena. Played
BGWWII.
Would much rather play Warrior. I can bring more Greeks or Romans do Fast
warrior or a large battle. Just Say when and where so I can plan.
My e-mail is Skylarker6391@...<mailto:Skylarker6391@...>.
Give a yell.
Robert.

Greetings Robert,
If you, Kevan, Kevin, and I want to get together on sun we could get in 3 games
in the morning and afternoon. If sat works better I can do that instead of DBA.
I will be there both days if there are games to be had

Hey Guys the HMGS-PSW Conv is not a Sat/Sun event this time around.
It's a Fri/Sat event. I believe it will be open gaming on Fri evening
and Sat will be scheduled events with open gaming only if space
permitted. Kevin R can confirm this. Robert, you and I are close.
Your in Diamond Bar? I'm in Rancho Cucamonga. I'm pretty flexable
about gaming so contact me when your ready and we'll schedule
something. I have quite a few armies.
I would like to make a Warrior showing at the HMGS-PSW Con anyhow.
There might be more out there that play ancients but gave up because
WRG died and DBM never really took off. If they see for or five
playing we might get a movement. I'm hoping anyway. I'm thinking if
we Kevin, Kevan, Robert and Terry commit to this we can make this a
scheduled event and arrange for table space. Kevin R what say you?

Kevin, I would ask you to look at the file labeled fifth horseman in the
files section and let me know if you have any candidates there so we can help
you out.

Kevan, I'm more than willing to play warrior over DBA. If we can get some
space we might try to get some of the DBA folks to give it a go.

Yeah unfortunately we are stuck with a Friday/Saturday situation. As a chapter
we need to explore some other possibilities. Halls just cost too much down here.
I would love to see Warrior take root in Socal again, and want to participate. I
would suggest that we start out with some fast Warrior games to get back into
it, and possibly interest others in this game. I have grown tired of the generic
ancients games that are out there any more. Anyway, I look forward to seeing you
all there on Sat. We are having an all ancients type con in July the week after
Historicon. Phil Barker is to attend. We may be able to do a Warrior thing
there, even though it is supposed to be an all DBX con. However since Warrior
kinda started with him maybe we could tie it in (Yes I know Warrior is not WRG
7th). Maybe we could start attracting our Northern brethren down to Socal for an
event.

Where will the convention take place? I tried accessing your site & I bumped
up against a virus on it.

Thanks for the hads up on the website. I have not been on it for about a week
and did not know there was a virus. Anyway I notified our webmaster. Our next
con is April 15/16 at the Verdugo Hills Boy Scout Service Center in Glendale. It
is on Grandview just a few blocks north of Glenoaks. We have not decided on a
location for the Phil Barker con as of yet.

Alas I shall be in the midst of studying for finals that are the next week.
I'm not as quick a study as I was 30 years ago so I will need that time.
Sigh, maybe next time
