No, it doesn't. If you were armed with another hth weapon in addition to
your 1HCW, you might count that, depending on what it was. But in fighting
those
troop types with 1HCW alone, no second rank figs count.

Ok, I was checking out the EIR list and I noticed something I didn't
understand. Why does it say (on line 32) where it says HTW or HTW/Shield for
12 points. Is there a typo or is this like the weapon options in the
Commegene list. I think there were 3 options, LTS, P, HTW.
Also in the Commegene list the Cataphracts are regular B but in the EIR they
are Irregular C. Is that working as intended?
Hope I don't seem rules lawyerish, but obviously I am kinda stuck deciding
which army to stick with because I like a lot about both!
A situation came up in a game I was playing. I had shooters at exactly six
inches from my bowmen, but a light cav unit set to charge me (I think they
were 2 inches in this case). According to the way I understood the rules on
target priority, I had to shoot at the shooters with the elements of my
archers that were able to target them. Is this correct? I would think being
in immanent danger from an unskirmished javelin armed cav charge would be
kind of scary for my light infantry boys.
I am thinking about going to the upcoming Warrior tournament to provide
fresh meat for the vets. How do lists work for tournaments. Do you just
bring one list to fight everyone? Is there an alternate list you can use?

Thank a lot for answering all my newbie questions. I am having a blast
playing Warrior.

>Yes. Oftentimes, allied troops "suffer" a morale downgrade from the parent
list. You'll see this in many other IW lists with explanations in the Notes for
why it's done.

Scott will look into this, but it does seem to be a typo - stand by please.

Thanks for the quick response on some of those questions.
If I could get an answer to this last one, it would be great. Still
undecided about what exactly to play at Call to Arms and this would be a
great help.

Yes, it is a typo. Shoot. Should be LTS; no P at this time. Errata for
IW will be posted soon to the site, which will include something like the
following for EIR:
Page 35, Line 32: Commagenian Infantry, change “all HTW or all HTW” to
“all LTS or all HTW”
Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Note to all: let us know if you
find goofs like this. Thanks.

Bill,
I was just curious why the pike is not allowed for the Commagene Infantry
as well since the Commagene King actually accompanied these in his status as a
Roman ally at the Siege of Jerusalem? Certainly this happened in the EIR period
with Titus the son of Vespasian as the commanding general. It also seems a bit
strange to me that the Cavalry would be Irregular especially that which is
accompanying their king as they are in their normal list. I certainly understand
a reduction in morale as in Scott's explanation, but why would they suddenly
become untrained, in this case going from Reg B to Irg C?
