What basing scheme are you playtesting?
Are you using Games Workshop (Warhammer) individual figure basing, or
standard WRG/HOTT/Warrior element basing?
If you are aiming for market share........ But you've heard that argument
before.

I think Jon said before that it would cover all mounting systems (sorta like
what Terry Gore is doing with Fantasy Warfare). I hope this is the case
anyway. I collect both individual mounted 28mm and HOTT 15mm based
miniatures. So I want to play with both scales.

"What basing scheme are you playtesting?"
Warrior, of course. But we have made a 30mm scale basing system for WHFB/WAB
guys to use to convert into Warrior if they like.
<<If you are aiming for market share........ But you've heard that argument

Indeed. The biggest attraction amongst our converts so far has been that every
single fantasy figure ever made in four scales is ok for use with our rules and
appears on one or more of our 45 (and growing!) army lists. This concept is new
to the fantasy community who has been saddled with figure-propietary rules and
lists.

Jon, will the 30mm scale basing allow you to play with individual mounted
figs, or must they be placed on 'trays' or otherwise be mounted like for
Warrior?
Terry Gore has an idea about allowing 30mm figs to be mounted individualy,
with EACH so mounted miniature counting as a single'stand' (as in say 4 15mm
figs per stand). This allows a single 28/30mm fig to replace a single
element of 2-4 models mounted for Warrior/DBx, etc.

Warrior already allows for this. If both players have forces the same frontage
by troop type and have agreed on what an element is, play on.
I have seen 30mm/25mm games where the figures were mounted individually.
