Jon,

situation:
2 swiss pike units one stand wide frontage each, with their side edges touching
and parallel.

One of the swiss units is charged frontally and loses the combat. Pike are not
recoiled at first contact.

Next combat round:

Can the touching and adjacent swiss unit count as overlap in the combat?
They could not if they moved into this position, but they started here.
