Just want to clarify which troops the Lorrainer Ally general can
control in the Swiss army. To me it seems obvious that he is an ally
and therefore can only control troops marked as Lorrainer. However I
have had it suggested to me that because all the Swiss generals are
allies that you can mix and match as you please.
Can you please clear this up for me.

That is correct.

That is incorrect. If that were the case, the Notes would have said
something or we wouldn't have broken out the Lorrainers as something
warranting seperate treatment aside from the other "allies" in the
Swiss list. Remember, as it states in the Notes, that the non-
Lorrainer AGs are made AGs to better represent the command structure
of the armies, not the more typical AG representation of troops from
another political entity fighting under their own generals. The
Lorrainer Ally is "typical" of AGs.
