Is there some good reason why the Syracusan Citizen Hoplites do not
get the hoplite list rules?

Are they somehow less Greek than all the other second rate hoplites in
other lists that do get them? If so, I suspect that to be told so
would have been a surprise to them.

Good catch, Adrian.

No ... there is no reason to distinguish between Syracusan Citizen
and other Greek Hoplites... this is just a nomenclature/oversight
thing, and will be corrected with the next round of errata for CW.

NB: the Etruscan Hoplites in CW List 16 (Syracusan) have their own
List Rules, but do NOT get the Greek Infantry - Hoplite Rules.

Thanks.

Speaking of what may be odd oversites...

Is there a particular reason the Polybian Romans (CW List 33) can't fortify
their camp?

Thanks Bill,

This is one of my favourite armies for club play.
