				| I use felt that has been flocked with Woodland Scenics. The large
pieces are inconvenient to store or transport because I have to roll
or fold them to fit into the size box I want to use.

I just realized that I could easily cut them into two. They would
butt together perfectly for a large piece, and become doubly useful
by putting the straight edge against the table edge for smaller
pieces. I could also create a "ruffle" that matches the straight
edge to use the smaller piece without any dreaded "straight" sides.
Putting the edge of the ruffle under the big piece would keep them
 stuck together if jostled.

It would also be easy to draw scale diagrams of the various
configurations on 3x5 cards. If the rules required me to pick the
exact piece before laying it down, I could simply pull the
 appropriate card from my "deck."
