In response to Jon's plea for ideas for better terrain, I've put together a web
page that shows what I do for terrain. Mine is not the most elegant terrain in
the world, but in part that's exactly the point. If I, with little artistic
talent and a small budget, can come up with acceptable looking terrain, then
anyone can.
If anyone else wants to add to this archive with their own pictures and
suggestions, then I'll be happy to accomodate. Just send me either of (a) a
photo of your terrain, or (b) a link to where said photo is available online.
Also send me a brief description of how you made it. I'll then add this
information to the archive.
You can find this page at:

By the way, for those who say particle board or plywood is to bulky and heavy
for travel, I'm afraid I just don't see your point. I take all the stuff shown
here (and a few more pieces), throw it in a wheeled suitcase, and I'm good to
go. I'll be doing this tomorrow when I begin my 3000 mile pilgrammage to Cold
Wars, and I can't think what would be easier.
