I think Mark got it 100%

This has NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING to do with the gap rules of 6.53, which
covers the charging of units BEYOND the two shoulders.

This is all about how to get inside the 40p approach limitation to get behind
the flank of the gap units with a LIGHT CAVALRY UNIT.

Please forgive me for the confusion. I thought most people would read this and
say, "I have done this dozens of times." It is not very advanced stuff, but
rather basic movement 101.

At any rate, I send Jon a diagram, and all that, so perhaps we can move on the
the "most cost effective foot" issue.

Thanks ...
G

And I agree with you Greg and I know I have at least. Just that niggling 80p
thing, which we have cleared up.

I disagree, MI, JLS, Sh. They can be broken through too easily by knights
making VB Disorder.

I'm on board with the Reg D B,SH troops. Must have the sheild, virtually
ensures they won't break on contact by any foe.

Actually this all still comes down to tactics. This is a Rock, Paper, Scissors
game and screening in moogs who will trash these guys on contact with an even
die throw. But, if you roll up like Don with your bowmen, you don't ever have to
worry about the moogs or anything! LOL!
