As one who constantly forms and expresses his opinion, I can add to what Scott
has written by saying that I do not expect anyone to embrace most of what I say.
It is the old 33% rule, where one third are for, one third against, and one
third don't give a damn either way. One thing is for certain however and that
is everyone will leave it all up to you if you ultimately are the one doing the
work. State how it will be, do all the leg work, and I promise the players will
show up to game :)

At that point players wil choose whether or not they want to

>Harlan: Do what you feel is best but remember, 30 gamers will give you 45
opinions, none of which, in this particular case, seem to be directed at you
personally. Believe me, after umping and organizing this stuff for 15 years
now, you do what you think is best for the venue and area. If it works, great.
If not, you can go back to the drawing board. Any player who doesn't want to
participate because of the format is certainly free NOT to participate but if
they show up, should play by the format in question and enjoy themselves:) :)
