I would love the Fleet rules next. Let's make use of the major water roles. David

Doesn't shock me at all. The playtest version of Fantasy Warrior has received
an unbelievable response here and brought several new players into regular
Warrior.

My vote--and this one will shock Jon and those who know me

Fantasy Warrior

Reason--great recruitment tool for "real" warrior.

My vote goes for:

Fantasy Warrior

Best way to get fresh blood into the hobby

>I just came back from a fantasy sci fi convention. It's not a gaming
convention but has a strong gaming component to it. Guess what I saw? Some
new game called Mage Knight or something like that and guess what? It
requires few pieces and is played on a 2x2 board. Gee, DBA had made it's way
into fantasy gaming. They had a tournament going with 22 players. It
reminded me of any historical cons with DBA events.

>So, Fantasy Warrior gets my vote. Jon can work on that as "real" army lists
become available:)Smile:)

Already working on all that. If this is next, we'd publish LONG before Dec
2002.

If we pick this one, I already have a plan to ask for recommended army lists
(beyond the ones we already have, which include the 'classics').

Im thinking of Hyborean (Conan) types, Melnibone' and other Moorcock, LOTR,
and others close to historical, also couldn't we include "Hollywood" armies.
Another thought however, is how much credit and copyright infringement would
occur by using some of those types. It would ne nice to have a publishing
date for 12/2002 to coincide with the second Lord of the Rings movie....
just some rambling thoughts from a historical gamer that is hooked on
Asheron's Call, maybe thats the prob :)

Fantasy Warrior - We will be able to pull in other gamers. We can then
convert them to the ways of historical gaming. <g>

I vote for Campaign Warrior...I already play Warhammer Ancients, so
I'm not sure I need another 'fantasy' system. :0

Although I usually agree with David, I think Fantasy
Warrior would be a wiser choice. It would be cool if
you could have a rulebook with glossy photos of troops
painted by Mark Duncan or of equal skill! But I know
that FHE isn't about marketing. They're about making
fun and affordable rules!!!

Kelly
