Hi
Just found the newsgroup. Used to play 6th and 7th before DBM. Never
got to see many of the Medieval army lists though. Can someone give
me an idea of the composition of the Wallachian list and their
effectiveness in Warrior?
Appreciate it.
Cheers
Paul

Paul,
Just ran it the other week. Interesting list, but I
would run it differently in a tournament.
All K units are Irreg 1/2 A 1/2B
CinC w/ 2 E HK L,Sh + PA - 170
Sub w/ 2E HK + P - 112
4 units 2 E HK
2 units 6E Viteji Irreg C LC Jls,B,Sh - 109 (218)
2 units 6E Roumanian Foot Ir C LMI Jls,Sh 79 (158)
3 units 6E Roum Archers Ir C LI B 49 (147)
8E Voynuks Ir C HI 1/2 2HCT 1/2 Jls,Sh 217
2 units 2 E Merc Knights Reg C EHK L,Sh 106 (212)
In a tournament I would have more LC, especially in 15
mm. This was a fun battle vs. Japanese. I also
wouldn't run the Voynuks - too expensive, but I had
the figs and I thought it would be fun.
It did well. HK don't do well vs. a heavy bow army,
especially when your opponent rolls up.

Hi Todd
Many thanks for the list.
What figs do you use for the Voynuks?
Personally I couldn't take the field without them - I'd feel lost!
Not sure about half of them armed with jls though - that part sounds
a bit odd; I would have thought all with 2hct. 8EL seems a large
amount too; perhaps you might only take 4 in future. Although without
any solid infantry to stand with them in the list, it does beg the
question why are they there at all!
Thanks again
Paul

Paul,
The 1/2 Jls, actually makes the Voynuks fight half way
decently - they at least get 1/2 a back rank fighting.
I'm not sure of the figs used - I bought a huge bag of
50 of them at a con - huge polearm type guys very
cool.
I just threw the list together - I don't think I'd run
the Voynuks again in a tourney unless I'm in 25mm. IN
15mm I'd take 2 more units of LC.
