Hey guys - anyone know where I can get some of these? The Essex
catalog doesn't appear to list them, and neither does the Foundry
website.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks
Dave Lynch

RAFM has pila sprues for their "imitation legionnaire." Go to RAFM.com and
email them if they sell bits.

Are you sure? I was on their website, and they only had the 3
lengths of wire spears with cast heads...

Thanks for the suggestion though...

A buddy is doing 25mm Romans and I swore he had 25mm pila on the paint table the
other day and I'd swear they came from Old Glory like the JLS and spears do.

I'll research.

Its Foundry that makes the 25mm Pila, of that we are sure. We are just
trying to find a good link and product #.

I once made hundreds of pila from brass wire and beads, available from any of
those really nice shops that cater to trophy wives and thier projects. You can
find beads in virtually any size and shape.

As an added bonus, you get to check out the afore mentioned 'TW's'.
