44 different players entering the doubles competition! That's an
amazing turnout. I bet the WAB and DBM players didn't know what hit
them! Kudo's to all involved.

Howdy,

Yeah, we only had 36 in DBM this year. Last year was more typical when we
had 44 players. Of course DBA puts all other rule systems to shame with the
turn out they get.

I know that if I ever need to engage a PR or marketing firm, I'm
calling FHE! ; )

any room to move around! :-)

Mike

Hahahaha....well sometimes it's good to get recognized for your
accomplishments. I sent you back an email, that apparently you
didn't get. I suggested Essex (can be a little fiddly with their
glue on stuff), and Two Dragons. Baueda is also coming out with a
line of Emishi, which could be useful for the Samurai Shogun!

Do you get Two Dragons thru Brookhurst?

what do you think of Eureka? Australian or New Zealand co?

What is your opinion of Old Glory?

Mike;

Just sack the 15mm stuff and go for the 'manly-man' scale and use
TAG, or Perry or Old Glory or West Wind (well that might be a little
too fictional). Can't help with Eureka. Old Glory is sometimes a
mixed bag. Depending upon the sculptor they can range from god-
awful to not bad.

Dave,
Doing the army in the "manly scale" is the ultimate endstate, but I
would like to test fire a few lists first in 15mm, and get a "feel"
for the army, prior to purchasing 25mm figures.

Dave,
Doing the army in the "manly scale" is the ultimate endstate, but I
would like to test fire a few lists first in 15mm, and get a "feel"
for the army, prior to purchasing 25mm figures.

The "manly scale" you know what they say about guys who have to
have larger toys to reach that "ultimate endstate"....:)

Stay with the 15's, it takes more thought to play that scale you
have to try harder.

David

<DS> I understand what you are saying Dave. I'm just used to handling
larger things, but I must admit some are more comfortable with
handling smaller items. ; )
